If you have followed my blog then you know I am all about saying yes to adventure. I can’t think of a better adventure then taking the ultimate trip that would allow me to focus on personal growth, travel and spend quality time with a group of like-minded women Deborah Bateman has perfected the ultimate getaways to do just that, and I couldn’t be more excited than to have Deborah answer some questions for my readers about the latest Wisdom Quest Trip.
I first met Deborah a few years ago through a mutual friend. My friend had just returned from a remarkable Wisdom Quest trip through Italy and was so thrilled with the group of women she met and the extraordinary itinerary that she signed up to do the next Wisdom Quest trip to Russia. Winter hikes in Sedona can be breathtaking! Recently a good friend of mine and I decided to take a girls weekend and explore the red rocks in the snow. We hiked an area on the northern part of AZ State Route 89A along Oak Creek Canyon and found a gorgeous and historical trail, West Fork of Oak Creek. Continue reading “Sedona Winter Hiking”→
Earlier this summer I had the thrill of driving through Moab, Utah on my way back from Colorado. I had a day to explore and that was not enough time! This place is famous for hiking, jeeping, biking and river rafting. It is the gateway to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. What a gateway it is!
Hiking to see the waterfalls of Havasu was one of the toughest yet most amazing experiences of my life. The waterfalls are located deep in the Grand Canyon and are part of the Havasupi Tribal Lands. Havasupi is translated as “people of the blue-green water.” The water is a beautiful turquoise, unlike anything I have ever seen.
There is something magical about the Holidays when you are a grandparent. This year I am even more excited for them because I am a brand new grandma! My little grandson is just under a year old but already, I am dreaming of all the fun adventures we will have together. One of the first places I check for great ideas is on my favorite travel blog, travelswithbibi.com . Shirley, is the kind of adventurous traveler I want to be and takes grand-parenting to the next level. She came up with a holiday train guide that I encourage all of my readers to review and share. It’s filled with fun trip ideas around the country that are holiday themed and sure to create memories to last a lifetime. I am so honored to have her as a guest writer on my blog. I am already looking into booking a trip on one of these Holiday trains!
